We are collecting your personal information for the purpose of responding to your enquiry or complaint.

If the information you provide discloses that a child or young person may need protection or is the victim of a criminal offence, we are legally required to refer the matter to the Department of Communities, Child Safety and Disability Services, Queensland Police and, sometimes, the Crime and Misconduct Commission.

We may also need to refer information to the Department of Communities, Child Safety and Disability Services or another service provider, employer, person or agency in order to assess or investigate the matters raised.

In some cases, it may also be referred to other relevant program areas within the Commission. 

As part of our ongoing website maintenance, information you provide electronically may be viewed by the Commission’s information technology staff and internet service provider for system troubleshooting purposes only.
