CCYPCG home / The blue card system / Children & young people
What does the blue card system do for me?
The blue card system works to create safe environments for children and young people by:
What you can expect...
You should feel:
when you are receiving services or participating in a range of activities. This might include:
What to do if you don't feel safe or are worried about something...
All children and young people have a right to feel protected and safe, no matter where they are or who they are with. You have a right to feel safe at all times.
Your opinions matter!
So that organisations and people who work with children can meet your needs, the Commission encourages adults to listen to children and young people so that they are included in decisions that might affect them.
If you have an idea about how something can be better at your school or somewhere else like at a sporting club or social group that you participate in, you have the right to let people know how you feel and what your ideas are.
