Is your question about the blue card or the Working with Children Check?

If so, have you looked at our FAQs page? If you can’t find the answer there, please contact us on the details below.

How long does it take before I should check the progress of my application?

As a guide, you should allow at least 28 business days for your application to be processed where applications lodged are completed in full and where there is no police or disciplinary information.

If you have been requested to provide additional information subsequent to lodging your application or have a criminal history your application may take longer to process.

If you are concerned that you have not heard from the Commission after 28 working days and you have not been requested to provide further information or have a criminal history, you are welcome to contact us on 1800 113 611 (freecall within QLD - calls from mobile phones may attract charges) or 3211 6999.
